Maxxis - is this normal?

V Rubber. It is quite rough riding here so maybe that's part of the issue. Other issue is it's probably V Rubber? I've put about 600km on it?

I don't know how long before I got them but I fitted about a week after it arrived

If that's a rear tyre, that's very good going for tread wear. My rear tyres get shredded after 400kms. It might be from a few causes, old tyre, faulty compound or it's had chemicals spill onto it at one stage of its life.

Yes it's a rear. I'm not worried. Just did both days of Bayview Blast on it. I'll keep going until I've worn it out or it falls apart.
