Decided to go long on the new bike to see what all the fuss is about. Off the Brakes come through with good service and after 3 months of waiting it turned up 3 weeks ago.

Mondraker's are always gonna be wicked looking bikes.
How tall are you exactly? That's a 185mm and, although it's dropped, it's still got a solid 50mm out of the seat tube.
What do you like about it most over the Insurgent? Which chainstay length are you running it in? Or have you fiddled with it?

I'm just over 6'3". I like the stability and what the forward geometry does for front wheel grip. Yes it isn't as playful but it's a damn fast bike. Running the 430mm and 66 headangle. Going to try 440mm and 65 cups next weekend.

Now running slacker/longer option in the geometry kit. 65 headangle and 440mm rear end. Just adds even more stability and can really hammer into the rough stuff without much worry and hold alot of speed.
