Mt York Trail Conditions

Not sure if this is the right thread for this (mods, please move if needed)

Tried Dr Google and Trailflix and couldn't find anything.

Just wondering if anyone has ridden the Mt York (Lawson's Long Alley or Lockyer's) trails since the fires? Are they still there? Damage? Trees down? Etc

I was told last week they're closed for now(unstable trees, maybe tress down).

From what I have seen and heard. Burnt to a crisp. a few trees down. needs a lot of work.
Not sure of the official status but people are still riding, I hope they are taking a few trail tools....

rode it a week ago. Lockyers is great. It's officially open and trees have been cleared.

Can't comment on mt york.

Rode Berghoffer, Lockyers, Coxes and Lawsons long alley today.

All good. Berghoffers is all good. One or two trees down on Lockyers but not in bad spots and you can go around them. Some of the erosion mitigation stuff they put in after the fires interupts the flow a bit at the very top and very bottom but nothing that you'd say spoils a great ride. Coxes is hectic as ever. Lawsons is all good.

Lockyers is the most buff I've seen it in 15 years. First time I've cleared the trail without pushing.
