MTB Duo Orienteering Saturday 14th September

MTB Duo is Orienteering on Foot & MTB. Basically an Adventure race. Cost for this is $28 for a non-member of the Orienteering Association.
Teams are welcome and encouraged. Then if you only have one Navigator you can halve the cost also.
This next event is at Ourimbah MTB Park so the riding will be great. The running legs are on the Western side of the access road.

MTB Orienteering

The next events are Sparrow Hill & Kowen Forest @ Queanbeyan, East of Canberra on 19th-20th October.
The pictures you show are Penrose Forest. It has been logged and the Singletrack from the Highland Fling is all but gone now but it is still a good area.

DUO is a relatively new format, basically an Adventure Race, but a lot cheaper and usually not as far. MTB + Run Orienteering.

Newcastle Orienteering Club run a MTBO Series during the Summer called BOSS = Bicycle Orienteering Summer Series.
They are on 24 Nov
15 Dec
12 Jan
2 Feb
2 Mar
23 Mar These races are 75 minute Score Events. Grab your map and get to as many Controls as you can in 75m and get back to the Finish.
There is no order to the Controls, you need to pick your own course according to your ability and the time available to get back in time.

The next DUO is on 3rd November
then 6th April in Penrose
27th April Glenbrook.
