MTB Wagga is pleased to announce the return of the much loved MTB Wagga 6 Hour on Sunday 15th September 2013 from 9:30am – 3:30pm. Following the cancellation of last year’s event due to the floods, we have decided to move our event from March to September where the calendar is a bit less congested.
The time of year and some IMBA inspired track improvements are the only changes to our popular club run event, so if you have loved it before, you will love it again this year! 13km of fast flowing action packed fun on over 90%of singletrack.
Categories: Solo Male, Solo Female, Solo Masters Male, Solo Masters Female, Solo Singlespeed, Senior teams Male, Senior Teams Female, Senior Teams Mixed, Junior U 17 Teams + the 30 minute U12 Girls and U12 Boys event. RFID electronic timing as used at the Tumut 3 Hour and the MONT will be used.
Cost: $40 solo entry/$30 per person team entry + $20 MTBA Day licence for non MTBA members. 10% discount for online entries before September
Prizes and Lucky Draws: Over $2500 worth of prizes, lucky draws and giveaways
Accommodation: Plenty of motels and caravan parks in Wagga. Free camping will be available next to the transition area on Saturday 14th September. Please note you will need to be fully self sufficient with food, water and all camping equipment. There will be toilets available but no shower facilities. STRICTLY NO FIRES ALLOWED
