MTB wheel builder in Sydney - recommendations

Guys it’s been a few years since I have been on here , I hope I can get some recommendations for a wheel builder in Sydney to rebuild my front and rear wheels , I have new rims already and want to reuse my hope hubs , so I’m looking for a shop/business that can supply quality spokes and nipples and put them together , any suggestions ?

After stuffing around for years got Greg at TWE to build us some wheels laced to my dt350 hubs. Be prepared to spend a few minutes on the phone with him. Chatted through my riding style, body weight, bike etc. Couldn’t be happier with the result

Agree...though Lennox Head is some way from Sydney. Think we have six sets of Josh made wheels by now. None have needed nothing to date.

Truth. But I also have a habit of sending components to him...

Brass nipples, Alpine Triples, Wheelsmith Spoke Prep, accurately tensioned to your appropriate rim and hub, based on your type of riding. Just find someone who can do that for you, and you'll be fine.

For the love of god no spoke prep. It is the work of the devil when you are truing wheels. Use lanotec or anti-seize.

Been building them with Spoke Prep for 10 years without a problem. Most recent set I built will be running in the Portugal EWS round next weekend, we will see how they hold up after that.

Vanilla cycles ... suffering mental block, but pretty sure it’s Mark in Marrickville (sp)
TWE is my go to ... worth checking out the fish tanks and figurines too
