Like most loops, the amount of climbing was the same as the amount of downhill.

Photos suggest he was taking a lot more aggressive line on the technical descent than most other riders

~5km with 120-130m climbing...
At eagle a lot of the hard climbing is on loose rocky sections and sandy trails

He not only won, but on the 2nd lap he totally stuffed his forks.
so, for most of the race, he rode without suspension, and still took the A lines.
A well deserved win
