Nice ride!
Just wondering which parts has been change from stock?
Specialized usually manufacture their own stock parts and like to deck their bikes out with "Specialized" labeled gear. Most of its pretty good and it certainly serves its purpose.

I've imported the Seatpost (Thomson Elite), Saddle (Fizik Gobi), Pedals (Candy SL's, originally had Mallet C's but they weighed a tonne), the Handlebar (Eastern EA70) and had the lock on grips ordered from the UK (mtbdirect), some off ebay but mostly from Jenson USA.

My intention was to shed a kilo or something off the bike and make it a bit more versatile, but maintain its strength. Brisbane has such a variety of trail access around, I'd love this bike to be able to eat up as much single trail, downhill and fire trail without getting a specific bike.

Was pretty keen for a wicked colour scheme too! :)

Awesome!!!!!:)
If you wanted to shave grams. Try XTR parts.

IMO, 13kgs is nothing for a all mountain bike!
I would just ride it hard, enjoy it and replace parts when it breaks.

You mean like this;

http://www.specialized.com/bc/SBCEquipPopup.jsp?equipimage=/OA_MEDIA/2007/bikes/END_Exp_Ano_Brown.jpg&equipmodel=Enduro SL Expert

This was the 07 Expert model in anodized bronze, looks even better in the flesh than in the photo. NRG cycles in Brisbane have a demo model for sale for a great price, Riders at Mt Gravatt also have one for sale, both medium frame size.

But I just scored one that looks like this;

Full review of this one at;

Again the test bike teal blue looks even better in the flesh and works as a nice contrast with the browny/grey suspension drivetrain components.

But I like what Endu-Roh has done with his, the grips and seat colours work well. You don't happen to have some spare Specialized S Works Eskar 2.3 tyres left over do you?
