hey guys
so i want some jumps around where i live...
im sick of catching the train everywhere in the arvo after school to go for a ride...
sooooo attempt to build my own.:rolleyes:

Here is what i have done so far in about hour and a half....
and suggestions of comment welcome!

so here is the area i have chosen to build at. it need quite a lot of clearing!



The dirt is great!!!


half hour of digging and you end up with a up ramp.


Another half hour of digging and you get a down ramp.


half hour of leveling and clearing and you get this.


another jump at the next tree??



Proposed line number 2??


Planing on have 2 or 3 jump set with a berm at the end with pumps/berms/pump jumps back to the top of the run in.

B.T.W...all long term ideas as i am building own my own:(
and im 15 :p
more updates as i build more!!!

its been raining :(

3 days solid rain... produces this... :mad:




finally cleared the run in


the berm i made the other day at the start of the run in


i have made drainage for all of the holes before the jumps. this is pretty heavy rain we have so will not always be this dramatic.

Build big drainage holes next to the jumps

Had the same problem mate. what i did was dig a massive hole right in the middle of where the water gathers, then chucked a shipping pallet over the top. i think it will work.

well it should......i hope..

yeah that'll do the trick, used it on dh trails before and it works great... except for when some deadbeat rips it out and throws it in the blackberries leaving a giant HOLE!:mad:

yer its all sorted now i made trenches so the water from the holes in front of the jumps drain into the big hole in between the up ramp and the down ramp. now i am just waiting for it all to dry out so i can keep building/ridding:cool:
