So yep, fat biking. Slightly better than e-bikes but not by much etc. Except when you are on Tattooine they go alright.
Anyway wound up in Swarkoptmund, Namibia after a week’s work in Cape Town, and after getting in touch with my inner bogan quad biking through the area where they shot Mad Max I found there was a company doing fat bike tours. Seemed like an appropriate place to give it a crack if there ever was one. Didn’t have time to do the full day tour, but the 2 hour exploring the dunes and with some sand based downhill chucked in there was tip top. Highly recommended if you are ever in this part of the world.
