NERANG MOUNTAIN BIKE CENTRE SEQ DOWNHILL CHAMPIONSHIPS – 27TH/28TH AUGUST – ILLINBAH, CANUNGRA

Gold Coast Mountain Bike Club have all been working really hard building the new course and getting organized to put on a great Championships with a festival atmosphere.
THIS IS A TWO DAY EVENT WITH PRACTICE SATURDAY & ALSO SUNDAY MORNING & RACING AFTER LUNCH ON SUNDAY.
Camping is available at the race course and is included in your entry fee. Hot showers available. Once at the camp on Saturday night you can’t take your cars out but the Club has Bus Shuttles taking those wanting to go the Canungra Hotel for dinner. If camping or going to dinner please let Kylie or Mark know on 5596-2911 or 0418-879-785 so they know how many to book for dinner.
This is going to be a fantastic week-end so don’t miss out. Come and try the new course which is 5 minutes long with a bit of something for everyone, steep sections, not too much pedaling, jumps so don’t miss out on trying this new awesome new track.

Thanks to everyone who has already submitted their on-line entries it really helps speed things up.
We are getting number plates made up specially for the Championships and all riders will be ceded from their positions in the Sunshine Series. If you have not raced previously you will be placed after the ceded riders. You will get to keep your number plate (NO NUMBER DEPOSIT REQUIRED)
KIDS RACING – TO GIVE YOUNG RIDERS A GO THE CLUB HAS DESIGNED A SPECIAL TRACK FOR THE JUNIOR RIDERS U/13 YEARS AND THEY WILL ALSO HAVE THEIR OWN SHUTTLES. PRACTICE SATURDAY & ALSO SUNDAY MORNING WITH RACING AT LUNCHTIME ON SUNDAY.
KIDS u/13 ENTRY FEE - $10-00 (TO COVER LANDOWNERS FEE THE CLUB MAKES NOTHING)
RIDERS WILL NEED AN MTBA LICENCE OR NEED TO PURCHASE A DAY MEMBERSHIP @ $15-00 to cover the weekend on top of their entry fee.
This entry fee is for the junior course. If riders enter the u/15 class they will pay the full fee for the u/15 class.
Food & Drink available at the Venue. Brekky available Saturday/Sunday morning.
THE COURSE IS ON PRIVATE PROPERTY YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE THIS BEFORE OR AFTER THE EVENT. IT IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR OFFICIAL RACE & PRACTICE TIMES.
COME ALONG AND SUPPORT THE CLUB AND HAVE A GREAT WEEK-END.
GET THOSE ON-LINE ENTRIES IN AS IT HELPS EVERYONE GET ORGANIZED TO PUT A BETTER EVENT ON FOR YOU. ON-LINE ENTRIES WILL HAVE THEIR OWN QUEUE SO YOU WILL BE PROCESSED FASTER.
DON’T FORGET TO BRING YOUR MTBA LICENCE OR CLUB RECEIPT OR YOU WILL NEED TO PURCHASE A DAY MEMBERSHIP @ $15-00 which covers both days on top of your race entry.
