That dropout/chainstay interface would want to be a lot more supported than it looks in this pic - otherwise all I can see happening is (at best) excessive play developing in the interface, or (at worst) snappy-snappy, crunch, wheel jammed, scrapey crash time...

Love that CC still fronts up as about the only bike manufacturer to put himself out there and answer questions personally.

I've owned 3 Pivots and have an email here from CC himself, he doesn't take it lightly or put that shit on others. A great brand... though expensive.
