Newly Released Bikes General

If only a full 29er - I know 27.5 is their thing but would a ripper trail bike as 29 front and rear.
Eh, I prefer mullet on a trail bike. They feel more eager to turn. I am zero types of fast so the rolling speed advantage of full 29er isn't going to save me. :p

We must have a different definition of ripper! The big wheels have their place, but i find them more of a boat than ripper...
Possibly just wanting matching wheels. Admit on some of my local trails especially tighter sections the old 26 was quick as could flick around whereas the 29 is more muted possibly as quick not sure. Perhaps I need to try a mixed wheel bike before I cast my final judgement.

Everyone is allowed their own taste in rides. I can ride from my place to the trail head 7 minutes faster on my ibis (29) than any of my other bikes. The same goes for climbing on trail. But when I think of ripping around I'm thinking of throwing some whips, dropping rocks, and railing berms. Things that I can do on the ibis, but I definitely prefer doing on my smaller wheeled more responsive and manoeuvrable bikes.

Only got the one bike but agree on the manoeuvrability not sure of small wheels or old bikes being shorter on general. Can move the 29 around just needs more oomph.
