Newly Released Bikes General

Is this the unfolding origin story of the supervillain 'Roid Dog'?

Polygons new enduro bike. $5k for a Di2 XTR
carbon bike. Surely that’s an error. That’s less than a frame from other manufactures.

Got to be a mistake, that makes no sense.

Hmmm.... Flow MTB review quotes $8,500 which is still really good imo.

Someone should order one and contact the ACCC the moment Polygon refuses to honour the $5k advertised price 😆

GX is icky.

I think it’s not bad value all things considered with how expensive bikes are now. $4k for good wheels and fork is worth it.

Needs sliding dropouts though and a proper sized XL.

GX is icky.
It is. I'm a Shimano bloke but my new eeb has GX, I'm like I'll smash it then buy some new Shimano... It's been ok, I'm alright with it, just fitted a new rainbow XX1 chain, I can ride it alright on an eeb.

I think the gear changes and intricacies are more important when you are breathing out your ass, eeeeb not so picky.

This popped into my inbox this morning...

I have almost gone blind over this. Hands are so worn out I can barely type...but it's one of those yes/no moments. The bike looks sick, but it looks like all their other bikes and a lot of other bikes out there, rather than the unique look the bottlerocket had. If that shock was still tucked under the top tube or they had a new name I would be a lot more excited. Tazer, 951, bullit, heckler spring to mind. Nostalgia sells.

Fuck want one though.

As someone that has just been doing the looking for a bike routine - The Polygon range seem to offer great value - the other one I noticed seemed to be Canyon
