Ha, the first gen Phantom gave me many yearnings when it came out thanks to its short-travel-but-not-an-XC-bike ethos, so nearly justified getting one. Production has a cover and my army had it there with zero issues besides being very supple and a plow monster. Most people are fair weather riders anyways. My annoyance would be getting crud in the adjustments.
