$3500 for a V3 Rune frame here in Oz. Taking into account that includes dropouts and a headset, it's still a 45% increase over the previous model.

I have much love for Banshee but can't see the justification for such a dramatic price increase.

I was looking over the numbers today, they should be under $3000 in Australia.

I'd say it's this bloke, he's just upgraded his bike to a new plastic number but he's got it too hot with the exhausts and it's melted in the middle and collapsed when he went to sit on it.

WTF? Slack head angle on any sort of touring bike means hard to ride no-hands and continuous rider input to keep it going straight ahead which is mostly what you'd be doing on one of these novelty bikes.

The lack of tyre clearance is odd in this style of bike.

Also short stays aren't what I'd be looking for in a dirt road bike...unless ones idea of gravel grinding is to only bomb down mountainside fire trails
