I miss the Tank days.
100%Are there nudie posters in the Aston Martin factory? Genuine question.
100%
All of the top English manufacturers are built on cups of tea and soft porn.
The perverted filth just out of sight in the McLaren factory must be something to behold...You may not see it at first but lift the lids on the tool boxes, open some cupboards or look behind the weld curtain and it will be there.
That’s not a factory, thats a stock photo. The perverted filth just out of sight in the McLaren factory must be something to behold...

Plenty of people do that, I was surprised to see the 'Made in Taiwan' sticker on my Banshee.Up market... Pfffffft. If the product comes from Taiwan it is generic, period. Regardless of who's sticker or what tricky patent they have...it's a generic robot frame. Don't let these clowns push their retail prices up by pretending that isn't the case.
Their old designs, before their special suspension design, were straight out of the catalogues.Plenty of people do that, I was surprised to see the 'Made in Taiwan' sticker on my Banshee.
My 5010 CC frameset (very similar to your Bronson) was a claimed ~2.5kg including shock IIRC.Guessing this build would be within half a kilo of most other high end spec bikes.Switch9er FS - Stanton Bikes
The Switch9er FS is a 29er, 140mm rear travel and 160mm front travel Trail Slayer. The aim of the Switch9er FS was to design and manufacture in house the most well engineered playful natured, confidence inspiring, aggressive 29er full-suspension frame. We have a bit of form for this: Also taking...www.stantonbikes.com
Agreed, except when I'm grinding up a fireroad climb...The Stanton's are beautiful along with the Starlings.
My Banshee Prime weighed within 150g of my Cotic Flaremax. 16.1kg trail bike doesn't ride heavy at all. Steel bikes have different feel to them all together. Great compliance and nimble feel. Weight is a lot less of priority now than it use to be for me.
If @beeb was to remove just half his penis he could catch up the 3.5kg weight surplus@beeb Stanton seems to be 15.9 kg with the cheaper build running Marzocchi coil shock and Bomber, from a review I found. So maybe half a kilo saving with the higher spec components and Ohlins?
Current Hightower XT is 14.76, X01 CC 14.04. Current 5010 XT is 14.07, X01 CC is 13.4. Much respect for SC putting the weights of all their builds on the site. Giant says call your local dealer lol.
Maybe 3.5kg frame weight for the 5010 CC? 2.5 doesn't seem to add up.
Actual measured weight - Balls removed of course - no one weighs with the balls onIs that claimed weight or published weight? Or have you actually seen it on the scales?
I'm a manly man. I weigh in with pedals still attached.Without pedals?
