Newly Released Suspension & Components General

in your opinion, would DT 240 hubs be worth the extra over 350s?

For me, no, and I feel the same way about upgrading to sram t-type, carbon rims, boutique suspension, other high engagement hubs, etc. Even if I had an unlimited bike-money credit card, I still don't think I'd want it. I just don't see much (if any) benefit to the actual experience of riding the bike. And if my bike was much nicer I'd be embarrassed to be seen on it hitting the B lines on the way down and coughing and wheezing on the pedal up.

But - there's a lot of folks parked at the trails with cars that are blowing through an AXS derailleur's worth of depreciation every week, which constantly highlights to me that my personal sweet spot on the price/performance bell curve is well to the left of a lot of others, and (most importantly) people can spend their own money on whatever the fuck they want. I'll happily buy their "old" gear on Facebook for 80% off ;)

While I like their droppers and bars, I can't see why I'd buy these over DT350's with 54T. They're fancy colours I suppose which is a plus.

Colours and weight. Price is not too bad. If I was needing new hubs I would consider but also the Erase hubs are not much more. DTs can be had usually for good prices off the German sites.
