Tough market to enter. Not impressed with alloy nipples. The weight and price are ok but don't really set them apart.

Silt wheels are marginally lighter and use brass nipples. $100 cheaper too.

Hunt wheels are pretty well proven now and come in same price with few gm's extra weight but brass nipples. Great customer support too.

One Up hubs seem to have a track record of slipping or failing rear hubs - thread on MTBR about it. Issues start on page 8

Finally got to test out the Wolftooth bar ends today and yeah, they're definitely... different! They never felt invisible (maybe just need more time with them) and I found that I was developing some discomfort at the edges of my hands from being up against the bar ends. They make the bars feel narrower (my bars are cut to 760, but I feel like with these bar ends I'd like them more if the bars were wider).

Not a fan of the grips though. They're just so round and boring. I much prefer the OneUp Jackson Goldstone grips as they're so much gummier and have a really ergonomic bump for the palm of your hand. I can't say I have any arm pump pain from today's ride, but my hands were sore after the ride. I think I like the bar ends though and will keep them on. Not sure I want to cut up the OneUp grips to make them work with these bar ends just yet. Might see what else is out there with a similar shape that can work without having to cut the ends off.

@Justin Fox any chance you'd be willing to grab some measurements for these - width, height, thickness/angle etc ? Want to try 3D printing some before committing.

Also be interested to hear your opinion if you've had a chance to ride with em.

The top edge is 50mm long, but there's lots and lots of subtle sculpting of the shapes so really it's not just a flat surface at all. I've got new, more ergonomic grips on there now, and also tilted the end plates more forward, but not been out on the e-MTB since I'm having way too much fun on my analog bikes atm!

DH/MTB Bar Ends V2 - Reduce Arm Pump

Bar ends inspired by some World Cup DH racers. Said to drastically reduce arm pump on long descents by giving your hands some guidance. They also add some protection for your pinky finger in head on collisions. They lock into the bar using an M6 hex bolt (DIN 912) and a normal M6 nut, that works...

Ahh, okay, yeah I saw they looked somewhat sculpted but didn't realise to that extent. Will have to see if I can find some locally to scan or measure. (or just buy some I guess)

I wouldn't pay for that dude for ripping off the WT design and selling it.... (or any of the other blatant copies)
For a personal use mockup tho, probably not hard to get close enough to see if the OG are worthwhile to purchase .
the WT site images gives idea of contours for little finger.. but to test concept on a ride it could just be flat..

could just use a free inner design like this,, and add a flat plate to it in Tinkercad
