i was just wondering how do you prop up northshore things without nailing or cutting trees?
because in a thread posted named "our trails" there has been comments made about how to kill a tree and all that.
just curious as im thinking of building northshore on my track

ns

There are many different ways in which you can support ns.
I think that it depends on the resources that are available to you and also you have to take in the terrain of the track.
I have heard that one of the best ways you can do it is by cutting supports to lenghth and then digging holes (deeper the better) into the ground.
You can then fill the hole with soil and compact,
or a better method is to fill the holes with cement.(This may take a bit of work.)
However there is no good using these methods if you are building on solid rock.
Another thing to keep in mind is how much stress is going to be applied to the area. I think you are going to have to choose which method to use. This method is also if you are tree conscious:D
hope this helps
