Dont know if you are in Melb MMelissa but if you are a great thing to do to improve your fitness is the 1000 steps in Ferntree Gully, I have been doing it for the last 6 weeks and has improved my fitness a great deal also obviously good for strengthening your legs too, heaps of people go there, AFL team was there the other week and alot of MTB and motocross riders I know do it too. So if you are close to Ferntree Gully give it a go, awesome workout and fun too!
