Pine forest at Red Hill

Got a spinal injury and have to fill the time somehow, editing! It's certainly not my best work as it was just supposed to be test footage for something much grander, however 3 vertebrate in the filming of some other stuff has slowed me down.

Watch, share, enjoy!

[First video removed - no longer Red Hill trails, but now Kinglake]

UPDATE: First video rounds are back on private, but below is my second submission :)

We spend way too much time living out our busy lives indoors and on screens. The real world is outside, go out there. Live. Dream. Ride.

Thanks for watching, like on Vimeo and share if you're inclined. Then go ride.

I saw this on the NSW MTB buy swap sell page the other day. Cool video and I recognised Pins and Needles immediately.

Good luck with the spine.

It's a fun track. I do wish it had a few more features, but certainly worth the climb back up!

Nice vid but you've cut out the off camber root section near the end of the track. Its probably the hardest section to get right and I would have liked to see how someone else does it. The vid of Fabien Barrel at redhill shows how to make it look easy, jumping the first few roots and then jumping out over the last few! I can usually jump the first section but always end up rolling the last few roots.

Hah that is a fun and challenging section! Alas my friend filming (who gave up his sunday) was pretty keen to get finished by the time we were getting to the bottom as it was a pretty cold and drizzly day. So we did rush the last sections, which those who know the trail would notice. I'll have to go hunt for the vid of Fabien Barrel now!

Cool vid, that would have taken a bit of patience to film assuming you set up the camera for each section separately.

One of my favorite tracks there, probably second only to Crusher.

Yeah we had other cameras in the car with tripods and sliders. Though it was drizzly so we just took one camera. I think it took about 15km to do one run down after all of the sectioning!

Where is Crusher??

That's bizarre that you saw it there! Maybe someone shared it there, generally 'spamming' in trading areas doesn't go down too well hah.

For those wondering why the first video link isn't working any more, the video is now private due to competition round ending. The final round is now open and my second submission is below:

Pretty sweet video mate. Heading to Kinglake on Saturday so it got my blood pumping.

Just be careful on that long gap into the berm on the top section! I broke my C7 and crushed my T4 and T5 vertebrate out there 8 weeks ago. Some of the footage from that day is from the section at the end. Fun track though :)

Damn, that is no fun. I am pretty sure I B lined that the whole day the last time I was up there. Planning on doing the same again.

Hope she all heals well!
