Pink Bike

This One has been making some appearances out at Stromlo recently - one of the NT riders.

OK...well after a long search and consideration of the suggestions in this thread, we've settled for a pink Santa Cruz Superlight with a custom paint job. Put a gravity dropper on her and some Crankbrothers mallet pedals. Other than that fairly average spec of Shimano SLX gear and Swiss DT 420 rims. The bird is more than happy.

No we debated whether to paint the front or rear triangle pink and settled on the rear only. Its a pretty full on colour in the flesh, and we thought it would be too much. The whole bike was originally grey.

...I would certainly consider riding a pink bike myself...I am a bloke, and I reckon it would look tops...

Is there a reason apart from the obvious why she is choosing to run a suspended seat post on a full sus bike?

Its a gravity dropper adjustable seatpost not a suspended seatpost. The diameter of the seat tube was not compatible with the Crankbrothers/Joplin post.

Great thread as my missus is a must have pink also, bought her a blue golf club bag she returned it and paid more for pink.

My sis has a Stumpjumper FSR which is something like this pic. Black with hot pink.
