I wonder if it will be available to suit bigger rotors or do we just whack a spacer on top.
I have never felt bike brakes were a problem to be solved.
Except for Shimano leaking oil and squealing
Good for unsprung weight. Terrible q factor.Yeah nah?
Nah NahYeah nah?

Nah, it will be sized for SRAM's new IO rotors, Imperial Only, coming out in a couple of years, why isn't anyone talking about this?I wonder if it will be available to suit bigger rotors or do we just whack a spacer on top.![]()
SRAM would like to say FU to consumers.Nah, it will be sized for SRAM's new IO rotors, Imperial Only, coming out in a couple of years, why isn't anyone talking about this?
6" (152.4mm), 7" (177.8mm) and 9" (228.6mm).
Obviously skipping the 8" as Shimano is already too close to the game with their 203mm. While we know that for Sram, fractions of mm are fine when it comes to crank spindles, for rotors it's just too close to them.
Well, at least they should still be compatible with old 142x12 29" hardtails I guess.750D gravel wheels, anyone... anyone at all?
Fuck off bike radar wankers.750D gravel wheels, anyone... anyone at all?

Just different enough to require buying new gear, and/or a whole new bike, FFS. That seems about it. Standard MO for the bike industry.750D gravel wheels, anyone... anyone at all?
The whole bastardisation of mish-mashed systems can get fucked! most are at best inaccurate, some just plain fucking wrong (I'm looking at you, 650b!). Use ISO/ETRTO, it's the only one that is remotely close! It can get stuffed. But I am actualyl more pissed off we don't use friggin metric! 700c/29 is 622 and 6750d is 660!

I just had a look at the diagram. Looks like the whole mount comes off when you take the rear axle off?? what a junk..Here we go folks, new brake standard that probably requires a whole new bike.

SRAM patent proposes "universal brake mount" designs to eliminate disc brake rub and "improve braking performance"
A patent filed in the United States by SRAM proposes a design for disc brake-mounting that “may be considered universal brake mounts”, potentially signalling the components manufacturer’s next industry standard following on from the widely implemented UDH (universal derailleur hanger).The...road.cc
Looks like there's a screw attaching it to the seat stay. Still a stupid "standard" though.I just had a look at the diagram. Looks like the whole mount comes off when you take the rear axle off?? what a junk..
A screw, as in one... ?!?! that sounds shit.Looks like there's a screw attaching it to the seat stay. Still a stupid "standard" though.
