2011 Polygon Collosus SX 1.0 - $998 (Was $1,799)
This is the perfect all round trail bike for the intermediate rider. Its tough, light and stiff enough to take on any trail put in front of it. At the core of the setup is the super lite ALX6xxx Hydroformed Alloy frame inbuilt with Polygon's new Floating Suspension System with 5 inch of travel - the same frame used in the higher end SX3.0 and SXX bikes. It is incredible to see a tapered head tube on a bike in this price range, as well as adjustable air suspension. This is a well designed, dual suspension mountain bike for the price of a hard tail.
