Nomad MK2

Forks: Talas
Shock: DHX5 AIR
Drivetrain: Shadow XT
Tires: Intense Edge 2.5 (Not pictured)
Brakes: Elixir 5

Rides beautifully, I'm into the more aggressive side of all mountain so the slightly heavy duty build is perfect.

Whats a RP24 Talas ?:eek:
GF site said:
RP24. What does it mean?
R = Rebound
P = ProPedal
2 = Two position Pro Pedal lever
4 = Four levels of Pro Pedal threshold
Its actually adjustable 140-120-100mm according to the top of the fork where you turn it and most references, but some references say 130-110-90. Either way it works well - good for extended climbs where it can be dropped to 120 or 100mm. I rarely touch the lockout. Tapered steerer and 15mm through axle is pretty stiff too.
Cheers

Anything from Santa Cruz will always be well received. Unfortunately for you though it would appear that the letters XC are prominant on your peddles. Instant disqualification !
Joking. Looks fantastic.

Thanks, but as Adam kindly pointed out they are Shimano DX pedals.
My design brief for this bike was make it bomb-proof and try and keep the weight down.
I have considered an adjustable seat post, but I'm just not sure about weight vs necessity.

Will now retreat quietly to my corner.

Beautiful bike
Cheers. It has been the perfect do everything bike ao far. If I bust my ass I keep up with my mates on XC bikes, and if I hang on tight I'm pretty even with my mates on DH sleds (in aus atleast). Only thing I wish it had was a bash ring at the front that would allow me to maintain 3 chain rings.

Coincidentally the banshee in the pic above also has 'XC' pedals ;)

And I agree your Santa Cruz looks great. But I'm a sucker for orange bikes. A Bullit? That's a solid looking swingarm.

I've ridden with a guy with a Bullit - was impressed with how well it went over everything. My two, the Banshee and Transition are only 14kg apiece. Still climb ok, just a little slower.
