Yeh a little, not sure what the weight difference is. This is more versatile as far as setup goes, mines 15kg flat with a fairly heavy build. Could easily build it <14kg. And it actually pedals alright. I have a command post now which helps. I havnt been on a proper trail ride yet. I'm sure it will suck at climbing compared to a more xc'ish bike but it's gotta be better then what I had.Very nice, very Bottlerocket/Double-ish
If it was anything like my old Bottlerocket, it would be a pain on the climbs!

Out of interest, what size frame is it? My XL alloy weighs 100g more than yours however some of the widgets are a bit different.
