I didn't know what a Banshee was until I became aware of the Banshee Appreciation Society operating on this site, in particular this thread :)

In all seriousness though, a really diverse range of bike porn here.

Still playing with different bars and toying with the idea of a change of hubs / wheels. Eventually I'll do a full PYR...

Nice. How are you finding the Dhx5? Is it the boost valve version? Also, how are you finding the radiator discs?

Love that your doing something different Wkkie. Awesome looking bike, I loved my dartmore for the short time I had it.

I'm really happy with the DHX5. I recently got it back from a service with Cyclinic and ran it at Ignition last weekend and the rear was flawless!

The radiator risk rotors are always good. I've been running them for a few years now and never had an issue.

My local trails aren't step enough to give them a good testing, but when I get somewhere like Buller, zero issues with any fade. I also run their finned race matrix pads and they're also quality!

I've got a brand new green 180mm and adaptor that would go perfectly on that Liteville of yours! ;)

Thanks! I like to be a little different...

Really happy overall with the bike so far. The biggest gripe I have is with great wheel clearance. That's about it...

No where near as exotic as some of the bikes in this thread but here is my new stead.

2019 Merida One Forty 700.

Stock as rock. Collected from LBS this morning, a quick 5km blast this evening.
Sure is a completely different machine to the 2009 Focus HT, I have been riding for the last little while as I get back into 2 wheeled adventures.

Nothing super special compared to some bikes here but oh my gosh I love it.

It's a Polygon Siskiu T8. A few months old now.

No major upgrades yet. Went tubeless, swapped to a 34t chainring and also threw on some bright orange pedals (easier to find the bike amongst the forest when I come flying off ). So much fun and feels so fast.

Feelin' a bit rrranty
Been a long time since I posted on Rotorburn, and a long time since I rode a MTB regularly... Bought this a few months back and have been slowly tweaking bits to suit me, been loving getting out on the dirt regularly again.

2015 5010c w/ DPS evol, -1º Works headset & 14omm Pike w/Luftkappe = 66º HA and ~73º ST so geo's not too behind the times. XM481 on 240 hubs, XX1 drivetrain w/ Wolftooth direct mount chainring (seriously I bought it with a 30t ring on it... there literally aren't hills steep enough here to warrant 30x42 gearing?) Also Guide RS Carbon brakes that aren't as shit as I thought they'd be, hah! No idea what it weighs really but at a guess probably around 13.5 given Minions etc. Sick bike for You Yangs, Harcourt, Buxton etc! Also really really orange.

Agreed. Not enough bin chickens around here either.

This has sort of turned into a general Ibis thread, unless @hifiandmtb would like us to split it off?

What do you think of it? I've ridden and owned every dually of theirs since 09. This new linkage wil be the first one I've not ridden. Still got the first prototype wish here from 2011. Durolux has good feedback on the European forums.

I'm quite happy with it. I've always liked the single pivots. While this isn't quite a true single pivot, it's very similar.

I just went from a Kona Process 153 to this and while the process wasn't horrible, I prefer the ride quality and feel of the Blackbird. I'm Garrett on the Blackbird too, and I think that's just down to being more comfortable on it.

The only 2 things I'd change on the Blackbird is the tyre clearance. Dartmoor say it'll take a 2.5, but it was hitting with a DHF. 2.4 cleared, just. But anything in the tread was smashing the stays. I ended up running a 2.25 Onza Ibex.

The other thing I would have liked is a little more reach on the xl. I went from a 50mm stem to a 60mm and it's about right. The Kona was a lounge in comparison, but I like the more playfulness of the Blackbird.

All up, it was awesome value and I'm super happy with it. The service from Casey at Ascension was to notch too!

And the Durolux does the job for sure. I've been pretty lazy and need to play with it some more to get the full travel.

I think it could also do with a damper service as well.

I've given it a lower service and taken all the tokens out of it and it's super easy to work on for those.

I'm a big boy (105ish kgs before gear) and give it a beating and it's solid, zero flex.
