Wow - I can understand why you would be pissed!Mine is currently off in the land of possibly getting replaced....
Have been struggling with short battery life... lost signal... water ingress and several band aid attempts at fixing my issues before finally sending it off.
Even though there is an Aussie distributor, warranty claims go back to the USA to be assessed and then the replacement product is shipped from the USA to the distro, to your LBS and then some time later I suppose you get it back....
This is for a KNOWN issue. There should be a system in place to quickly get product back to the end user /RANT
feeling slightly better.....

That would scare me off their product as well - I agree a better process needs to be in place for us Aussie customers.
