If doing the lever down, like most of us used to do, best to remove caliper and lift it up higher than lever, so air bubbles travel up.

Did you wind in the servo wave and levers out when bleeding? Nor essential, but gives a firmer lever feel.

Why don't you bleed it the outher way fill the reserver up and pump your lever . Then screw your bleed nipple in and keep fliking the lever until no air comes up and then flick a few more times after that .

Because air is buoyant. It's MUCH easier to work with that trait than against it.
