@Zaf indeed, apparently they are excellent pets, especially if you like exercising a dog, perhaps they would make a great trail dog, super quick and athletic.
Just watch out if there are any roos about, experienced that with willy my first whippet. he just buggered off after them (never a chance in the bush), I felt like Chevy Chase in Funny Farm when he buys himself a friend, opens the car door and the dog just pissed off.

This is wrong btw. I looked this up afterwards and the answer is actually pretty interesting, but I am going to bet nobody gets it.

They have a few engineering applications (the ones I know are in optics), but if Zaf doesn't recognise them after doing a maths degree it's unlikely anyone will. It's a Lissajous curve, it's a real shame the ABC seem to have deprecated it in favour of some generic ABC wordmark.
