Sitting here at the work computer trying to keep busy but finding it difficult as I finish up tomorrow afternoon to start a break. So I thought I would get some photos together with a few deets and put them here. I have been looking for a lightweight hard tail for our up coming trip.
Because it's a Paradox copy it means when we return I will be able to push it a bit harder on the trails believing I can't damage it.
Out for an early ride tomorrow to tweak the handle bars a bit as I have landed on my left shoulder 3 times in the last 30 years coming out of it worse each time. So...more fiddling.
Also, every part except the brake pads have been pre loved. Suits my pack rat mentality.
After about 6 rides I rode my trail bike yesterday morning and it felt HEAVY at 14.5 kilos. Once I got going it was fine. I may switch out the pedals for some SPD's as much of the ride will be on pavement. (though I have heard the term "pavement" is a very loose term on the Alaskan Highway)
