phwoar...is this like 3 weeks weve really been promoting the site, and to already have 150 forum goers i think is a great achievement! I hope your all having good times at farkin, and hope we get another 150!

im not sure, the amount of users is directly proportional to the quality of the site! like my maths theorem?

so if people keep digging the site, then who knows! Id like to see a few hundred. who knows tho :) We will just keep bringing you guys the best stuff we can :)

I contemplated going around to all the other MTB sites and telling everybody to join Farkin, but then I thought... hmmm... the reason why I made this my main MTB site is because it's such a good vibe over here. Heck, the reason why I don't frequent that other freeriding BB much anymore is because of all the idiots. So why would I tell them to come over here? :roll:

But then again... it'd be great to see this site become MASSIVE. Looks like it's on it's way, judging by the rate of growth...

I guess you can't get one without the other... :?

yeah, that is a problem with becoming big... but i figure that if the forums are moderated.. and we try to keep the site nice and clean we shouldnt attract too many bad eggs (thats what im hoping).

One of the things about these forums, is that we really want to keep the forums a great place for everybody to come and visit, and to post away without getting flamed. If someone just did there first 1 metre double and wanted to post a picture of it, sure go ahead, but anyone flaming them saying how small and crap it is will not be tolerated. This should be a place for everyone to share their thoughts and opinions without worrying about being flamed. Everyone should be encouraging each other to go bigger and harder than before, and most importantly have fun! Lets face it, its not a terribly big sport, the more people we encourage to ride, the better it will be!

yeah i agree if someone is just starting and they can only get one wheel off the ground thats okay. we were all like that once so just enourage everyone. i left pinkbike cause i got sick of the shit posts and people posting porn on the buy and sell. also farkin will be great if they dont sensor things like saying gay and deleting peoples bikini chick avatars
