haven't tested them on a rock strike yet, but will be interesting to see if what they say about composites is true.
So I got to test them out on a rock strike today.
Was fully expecting to eat shit and braced for a crash only to just side through it.
There's little reason to buy about vaults with the v11 around.

I'm on the lookout for new pedals, I just don't feel the Nukeproof Horizon Pros give me enough width to get comfortable, I always feel like the inside part of my foot is supported so I have to slow down to readjust a lot.

My shortlist is -

DMR V11 - 105mm width
OneUp Components Composite Pedals - 105mm width
HT PA03A - 105mm width
Kona Wah Wah 2 - 110mm width (but can't find them anywhere!)

Anyone had experience with these (or further experience with the V11)?

Very hard to go past the OneUp components for price, size and quality / longevity.

I've seen bad things with the HT dropping apart.

Merry fucking Xmas to you assholes

I've got Odyssey Grandstands in plastic and they work fantastically for my big feet.

Consider concavity too - the oneups are actually slightly convex, which could also give the feeling of the inside being supported more than the sides.

My go-to are still Deity TMacs, wide, very concave, rock solid. Also ridiculously expensive though, they seem to have raised the price. Been tempted to try Burgtec Penthouse Mk5s recently, look quite comparable.

I don't really want to spend $200 on pedals tbh. With the Nukeproof being 99mm wide, my question is will 6mm make that big a difference?

I picked some V11s up off the Germans for a good price. Look the same as my alloy vaults so going to assume they are as good until I try them and find out for sure. Probably worth a punt considering they are $40 from overseas and only $70ish if you can find them here.

Specialised - reasonably priced - 4000kms - nut stripped and shaft bent .
jb weld has solved that - now on my path bike .

Saints were on special - large size - I have biggggg flat feet .

I like em .
The Beartraps work sooo well, but are painful to pedal on , need a hard soled shoe !
Old Skool and really painful on shins ......

You COULD do that.
Only because that's all I have right now in the kitty. Looking into it, pin to axle distance seems to be an important factor, not just platform dimensions. I find I have to have my foot millimetres from the crank arm to get my full foot supported, maybe others sit further away and therefore a better target for my foot?

Support is just as much about the shoe. Just look at any clipless setup, like eggbeaters, or spds.
I don't like my nukeproof horizon flats in a pair of vans. But in some shimano mtb shoes - they're great.

Yep. The number of people who complain about flats, while wearing shitty shoes, is face palmy
