Well, what to do?

It's a festival from February 21st – 25th and accommodation is going to be hard to come by.
Do I stay for the whole event or just the Hardline race day?
Do I ride and spectate or get the walk in pass? Too many decisions! o_O

Looks like they are running shuttles on the Friday and Saturday, so there should be some accom options in Hobart if you are happy to waste some transit time on the buses

I got a ticket for the race day, and I guess I was planning to do what I did for the EWS - drive up there for the day with the bike and ride up to spectator points.

If I have room and youre staying in hobart you can probably get a lift.

I'll see what I can find close to Maydena and we do have friends in Hobart we can stay with if need be.

You sure this is the right move.
I mean last time you went to a race you were upset by all the noise and commotion. Cowbells, banging tire rims, hoots and hollers, the sounds of people enjoying themselves.
This will be even more cray cray…

I'll remember to take ear plugs :) Its bloody impressive riding to watch.

Should have waited or maybe see if you can upgrade to the premium package.

You can do some WFH, report straight to RB on all the bogans, tradie types and general noise making happy people. You wont have to socialise and the premium+ package includes 1 way tinting. Has a button that when pressed, revs a chainsaw outside, but luckily you cant hear it, just the noise makers on the outside.

Its only about an hour tops from Hobart. Dont kill yourself trying to stay nearby, unless you want to get in on the after hours action in the evening.
