The premier big-mountain freeride event returns on Friday, October 13. Now in its 22nd year, Red Bull Rampage, brings the world’s top riders to the toughest terrain in the world to showcase the biggest and baddest tricks, lines and sends the sport has seen yet!

The inaugural Red Bull Rampage was held in 2001. Since then, 16 different events and 10 different winners have made freeride history in the world’s toughest freeride mountain bike event on Earth.
Stay tuned for more info on the 2023 edition of Red Bull Rampage here or follow @RedBullBike for event information, livestream tune-in details, ticketing and venue announcements, spectator info and more.

Rampage has just started.

Edit: Theres a caveman drop thats pretty awesome.

I'm hoping they push through a girls rampage next year, 2x the stoke and runs.

Crazy man, coming from such a big crash in the practice and then pull it off in the finals, and then run it again for a second run after saying that's it, especially after such a big off is insane.
I think the helmet microphones ( a few F words were thrown about, not sure if they make it into the replay) and cams / more drones really helped this year.

The scoring was an absolute disgrace (like last year). I don't think Bren's was a winning run BUT it was definitely podium.

Some of the other lines were dead set roads

Was bummed for Tom Isted as well, his line was also pretty gnarly, plus the boy can lay down the tricks. I think he will be a future winner for sure.

Anyway, it's funny, there's me looking at a 1 metre drop and shitting my pants, watching these boys and girls drop God knows how many metres at Rampage - absolute kudos to them all. TBH if in my life if I can do the 2 drops on Dirt Merchant, I'll be a happy man. Yeah a man can dream

Yep, the judging isn't making the gnarly riding the main centerpiece of Rampage. If the judging was based on how fluently the obstacle is ridden then it's more interesting. I say they completely ignore if someone tricks over a jump, we get enough of that stuff in slopestyle. And, I also reckon they should have a live voting system for people watching the broadcast to submit a vote or score to give the people watching some direct involvement. That judging seemed driven by what helmet design you have.................
I'm actually losing more & more interest each year with it. Things like Hardline are far more entertaining and new, Rampage is just ecoming too......stale maybe?
Ditch the tricks, go big instead.

I agree.
The difference between Hardline and Rampage is that Hardline is a race, and if you get the quickest time you win, no questions asked.
I think all judged sports are a bit pointless unless there's some exact way of rating a performance, otherwise it's just some persons opinion, and you know that opinions are like arse holes, as everyone has one.

Just let it be a spectacle like Crusty Demons was and don't worry about a winner.

dont know much about the rampage scoring system but maybe have a viewers choice votes where people watch a persons run either via replay on redbulls website or from their memory of the live run and than they vote on redbulls website and they integrate viewers votes with the overall votes?

will takeaway from having a podium on the day unless all the voting is done live on the day for both viewers and judges.

Online voting is always manipulated by campaigns on fan pages by people who never even watch the run/song/performance

and the winner of Rampage 25 is...
