Road Works on Mt Keira Road Nov to Dec 2012

In case you have not seen the sign on MT Keira road it will be closed from 7 November until late December 2012.

From the Wollongong Council website
Mt Keira Road will be closed between the archery and the hairpin turn and partially closed between the hairpin and Queen Elizabeth Drive to allow access for residents and business only in that section of the road.

It should not affect mountain bikers as I am told there are no tracks there anyway:heh:

That will mean no shuttle's!!!

FYI - Work has started on the next phase to stabilise the rocks/cliffs along the road half way up (where the old house is). It is fenced off (poorly) atm and means you might not be able to get through on the road for much longer.
