Nice bike,
Hows the new bike compared to the free?
I'd be interested to know your thoughts on the 888 compared to the 40 on your old bike.
OT but are you going to illinbah next weekend?
Ben

Sweet bikes duckman, although I highly doubt the v10 weight, I've built up the same frame with far lighter parts and just scraped that number.

I think realistically it'll be around the 17 mark, probably a little more.

Shit that yellow one is yours too? And the new WC sunday frame yours as well?

Nice bikes, doesn't look like 16kg though.

ya the weight is a guetimate, ive been told between the 16/17 mark but honestly i think its closer to 16 i need a proper weighing scale for an exact weight, not trying to pull the wool over ya eyes :p and yes im at illinbah for both days... i have not ridden the 888's enough to compare to the 40's i find them really plush and responsive so far i know they are not the lightest fork, as soon as ive done a full weekend on the 10 ill post my thoughts on the 888's vs 40's

v-10 with 888's @ 16kg even? even with the spec list, im guessing you'd visited the "free bar" before you tried to weigh it?

Both nice bikes, but 16 kg even for the V10? I'll need to see the picture on the scales.

V10s are quickly becoming the new STP of downhill.

Very nice bike.
exactly what i was thinking, have been so many v10s going around lately, i remember when if we saw some rich kid go down on a v10 we would drool. lol
still a very nice v10 tho

The monorail are a great general use tyre as opposed to say a rendez. I find however they are craptastic on the front offer sub par grip in technical wet/muddy terrain however on the rear they are great for techy and non techy X-Country singletrack.

also you going ilinbah jamo? :p
