Showers in Melbourne City for commuters

Hey all,

Just wondering if anybody would be able to shed any light on shower facilities for commuters in Melbourne? A place I am due to start work with soon does not have shower facilities and after an hour long commute in I would be looking to clean up somewhere. I am aware of BikePark but that is at the southern end of the city and I will be working from the more northern-QV area so it is kind of inconvenient.

I have thought about asking the closest gym if I can use their facilities for a fee, but thought I would see if anybody out there has any other ideas first.

Cheers

I however am very normal. Trust me.
RMIT has shower facilities - swanston / latrobe, close to their bike cage.

It's been quite a few years since I studied there, you need to be staff or student for access to the bike cage, but the shower facilities where open to the public (if you new where to look).

Is there a sink where you will change? You don't need a shower, just get one of those chamois type towels, wet it and wipe yourself down, then dry off with it. Alternatively I'm told that baby wipes are perfect when there is no water around.
