Sit bone pain

Does anyone have issues with arse pain from regular ridding. I’ve tried different saddles and positions and get sore no matter what. The pain seems to be right on my sit bones and gets pretty bad a times. I would love to do longer rides but limited to about and hour or so max. Long term rider in my 40s. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated

Have you measured your sit bones?
Having the correct width saddle reduces pressure points and allows you to be more comfortable
Once I had the correct width it made a complete difference.

^^This. Had a saddle that was too narrow and after an hour was very painful. Ended up with a Ergon saddle match my sit bones..problem solved.

I have worn many types of knicks? None really help, most made it worse actually. I have a wider 140mm specialised saddle at present but not much relief.

There’s an easy way measure your sit bones to ensure it’s wide enough I run a 146 and could go wider, the easiest way to do it is get a flat seated wooden chair spray a mist of water on it, lay a piece of paper on it then sit on it, then stand up and measure the distance between centre’s of the two wet spots and that’s minimum you should run. If you have a bony arse you can sit on a piece of corrugated cardboard and and measure the centre to centre of the two indentations, as @Tubbsy said you need to make sure your not sitting up too much.

The Spec 140s aren’t super wide. They make a 155ish in most models, which might be worth trying.

Don't even look at saddles until you get your sit bones measured, once you get that right, the saddle will be easy.
I now only wear chamois shorts for big rides, up to 2hrs, just jocks.
