Extra Info: This is a total replacement damper cartridge for 27.5/650b 160mm Fox 34 forks (also works on Talas).
It is an open bath oil design which gives super low stiction/initial breakaway force, smooth travel, consistent performance under extended descents and harsh conditions, and long service intervals. It will totally replace the Fox Evolution (crap) cartridge or Performance/Factory forks (better but not perfect) damper cartridge in your fork. This is a professional grade damper with speed sensitive system which gets rid of the Fox C/T/D settings and once you have set up your initial settings you just leave it untouched for the whole ride and it is smart enough to adapt to everything you ride.
Fully custom tunable by changing shim stack whereby you can buy a whole shim kit from Avalanche and they give you instructions if you want to change it for your weight or riding style. It is currently tuned for a 63-68kg rider (plus weight of riding gear), and Enduro/All Mountain riding. The Optional Highspeed Blowoff valve is also installed to give extra mid-stroke support but very plush on square hits.
I paid $650 for this when the AUD was strong. Selling greatly discounted as I appreciate you might have to tinker with it to get it to suit your preference. Installation instructions available online and I am happy to ask any questions you have for your install which takes about 1-2 hours for someone who is adept with basic tools.
Will also include a near-full 1L carton of the Spectro Gold oil that's specifically recommended for this damper.
Give it a shot it will be the best upgrade to your fork without buying a new fork!
