Item: DT Swiss XM1550 Tricon 26" Wheelset - 135mm QR rear, 15/100mm TA front.
Location: Brisbane
Item Condition: Fair - Wheels run true, some cosmetic damage (see photos & extra info)
Reason for selling: Going wide
Price and price conditions: $300, reasonable offers considered. I would prefer local pickup, but will consider shipping at buyers expense.
Extra Info: These came second hand with the bike last year & have been in use on my Blur since then. I broke one spoke and had the wheel repaired by Ashgrove Cycles. For some reason, the spoke that was replaced was black rather than white (see photos). There is also some (what I would consider) minor damage to the free-wheel body, from a loose casssette, although it hasn't affected performance.
Otherwise, there's just the usual cosmetic stuff from regular use, which should be visible in the photos. My experience with these wheels has been that they're a godd stiff lightweight wheel, just not quite suited to the wide rubber I like to run.
While these wheels are currently set up for QR rear & 15mm TA front, they are convertible to different axle systems for about $40 an end with a kit from Chain Reaction.
Rotor mounts are centrelock, although I'll throw in 2 6-bolt converters if they're wanted. They're also tubeless ready and come with 3x DT Swiss presta valves (1 spare). All you need is goop, tires & a pump.
