Looking to buy a 7 speed shifter (not including brake lever), preferably all aluminium if they exist.

Also looking to buy aluminium left brake lever.

Not looking for anything expencive but price is negotiable, I also have some items to trade if your more interested in that.

I don't know what ratio I need but I have a Shimano Acera rear derailer.

Might have an intergrated set. I know it's Assera, but not sure if 7 or 8. Cable brakes I'm assuming?

Yes cable brakes, I plan to just run the rear derailer and rear v brake. I could rig them up on the same side but I'd prefer the 7 speed shifter on the right and rear brake on the left.

Dunna madda, 8 speed anyways. Pretty sure I gave away all my 7 speed kit not long ago.

Any 8 speed shifter will work as well. As long as you have the limit screws adjusted on your derailleur correctly, the 8th click (shifting in the big cog on the rear) will not be accessible.

8 speed is more readily available.

Cheers but it looks mostly plastic with just metal levers, I'd like an aluminium one to shine up but if I can't find anything else I might grab this one.

Knuckles has a integrated shifter/brake lever which is what I'm looking to replace so I'm still on the lookout for both for now.
