  • Item: Looking for a xc/downcountry frame 29" & Size Large
  • Specialized Epic Evo (2021-2023)
  • Giant Anthem (No live valve)
  • Yeti SB100 or SB115
  • Transition Spur
  • Rocky Mountain Element
  • YT Izzo, SC Tallboy, Trance Advanced (non-x model) and Pivot 429 may be options too.
  • Location: Vic but would be happy to organise postage if a seller exists and is willing
  • Item condition: Decent used condition. Not bothered by usual scrapes and grazes
  • Reason for looking: I am looking to get fitter for 2025 and want a bike that can do double time for training and trail riding.
  • I realise this is a very niche request and I'm also scouring FB everyday as well
  • Note: I'm already hating myself for considering a Specialized but the Epic Evo seems to be the best bet.
  • Price and price conditions: <$2.5k
  • Extra Info: Would love for a frame and fork combo
  • Pictures: You show me:)

Thanks Mike, I have had a few side glances at the Django but I would say it's a little too trail bike leaning for what I want currently.

You can get a brand new Epic EVO for $4299rrp.
Not the best spec, but plenty of scope to ponce it up a bit, if you have any nice parts.
Full warranty.
Might be worth seeing if any shops have one on the floor. They will probably do you a ripper deal.
We don't at the shop I work for, but I know they are in stock.
Just a thought?

Thanks mate, the Chisel FS has crossed my mind - it’s just very low spec.

You might end up coming in to play in a slightly different and steel way, watch this space.

I really like the Top Fuels @empee, just not in M/L size

@Rusty_68 it looks like I might get a loaner bike for my race and the Swarf might end up with me for general trail riding fun. Pretty good result in my eyes!

I’m back on the hunt, this time on a frame search.

Fingers crossed for 2025 bringing some luck and renewed fitness

This is almost good enough but just over your budget -

Steal of a S-Works Epic for $6.5k in Adelaide. I don't know the guy selling it personally but I did used to race against him.

The top shelf everything on it could easily bridge the gap between a frame buy only. XX1 AXS, SID ultimate, Roval wheels...
