SRAM rear hub boost conversion

One for the brains trust. I've got a mate who's currently building up a bike around a new frame (2016 Bronson CC) from bit of his old one which was wrecked, including bringing the forks across. He's run into a bit of a problem with the rear wheel though, as the new frame is set up for 148x12 rear and his wheels are SRAM Roam 50's in 142x12.

A bit of digging suggests that you can convert a bunch of hubs to boost with things like the Wolftooth Boostinator (https://www.wolftoothcomponents.com/products/boostinator), but seemingly not for SRAM hubs? The end caps are replaceable, there is just nothing around to get that extra 6mm as far is I can find.

Has anyone had any luck with this, or is the easiest way just to re-lace the wheel (or just buy a new one altogether)? Given the non-boost sizing of the front forks, this is a bit more of a PITA too, as wheel sets are a bit hard to come buy in mixed sizing, so it'd be buying singles or building wheels for that option.

Cheers.

The "easiest" way is buy a wheel.

Cheapest way is buy a kit, space the disc and chop off bits to get the extra 6mm from hub cap in kit and add to your axle during wheel insertion. Re-dish.

Rebuild is the costly route.
