HI All,

Please be aware that, due to total fire ban conditions, tracks and trails in Royal National Park are closed until futher notice except for Lady Carrington Drive. This included the MTB trails.

Many national parks in the Greater Sydney region are open from the morning of 26 October; with the following exceptions:

Agnes Banks Nature Reserve
Castlereagh Nature Reserve
Gulguer Nature Reserve
Kemps Creek Nature Reserve
Mulgoa Nature Reserve
Prospect Nature Reserve
Newington Nature Reserve
Wianamatta Nature Reserve
Wianamatta Regional Park
Joadja Nature Reserve
Pitt Town Nature Reserve
Thirlmere Lakes National Park
Burragorang Lookout


Does that mean Wisemans Ferry is a goer( Dharug National Park)? Looking for somewhere to smash out a long ride for highland fling training!

I believe that that list ^ might be changed in the morning in light of the TOBAN being lifted but it would be advisable for people to check the website of the relevant NP that they wish to visit prior to heading out.
