Syncros front trail fender

One of the best things about a Durolux is that it comes with a great guard, something all fork manufacturers should do IMO

DVO as well.

The Durolux one is solid, same as the Fox one for my 38, also solid.
The RS one for my 35mm SID, not so good. Felt like they were weight weenieing it, thin and affixed with 2 tiny bolts, did the job really well but lasted about 3 months before a rock stuck between the tread, came around, wedged itself under the guard and snapped it off on the trail.

I tried to glue it but there wasn't enough material to glue and a bridge piece that I glued under it popped off on install. Bin job.

Thread dig.

Anyone end up installing a Syncros mudguard on the Z1 - Marzocchi and Cyclinic say no dice but the internet says yes so thought I would ask before ordering. Also version 2 looks to have coverage for the seals.

That V2 looks to be made to match the more rounded arch of the ~2022+ Fox 36's?

Hmm. Yes - V1 has a silly cutout that doesn’t really cover the seals but may be the better option - looks like a local shop stocks them so might grab and see if it fits. Cheers

+1 for the Proguard (I have the short version).

Keeps 99% of the muck out of the face and fork seals, so I leave it on all year round.

Do you have a photo kind sir? Still looks massive in the shots I have seen.

I bought one, but haven't fitted yet. Looks like it should fit though (v1 without the seal coverage).

Saw the price of RRP and Mudhugger. That’s a lot of money for moulded plastic. Might start with the Syncros and see how it goes.

I was looking at it and I think it could be easy to add a piece to cover the cut-outs but haven't tried yet
