I think Yeti GU have now got to within 15 minutes of Jason and Andrew.

Not really question for me as I am not part of the organisation which runs the event (I just did the timing/results). But - General Classification is just that - pretty much everyone. You will also notice that teams who DNF or DNS a stage also stay in the series (with some "penalty" as per the rules)- which I think is great. You wouldn't want to be excluded from the rest of those great stages. In some stage races, if you miss a stage, you're out.
