The discount code thread

Has Pushys gone scrooge with their codes ? I don't buy very much from them these days but usually when you had something festering in your cart a little lure was dangled by email and boom... deal was done.

Been weighing down the virtual cart for a couple of days now and no decoy has been deployed :)

I see I have some but not enough to buy a $10 voucher
$1 equals a point. 1000 points is $10 voucher. So $1000 o_O There Is levels as as well get a few more points per $1.

Whats happened Pushys ? They were the Oz-CRC in the making. Didn't realise it was 1 for 1, I have 199 points... do they expire ? Looks like I should have more than that.
We'll Crooze has the same item for $2 cheaper... must be on purpose to undercut the competition. If I could be bother giving them my phone number, an extra 5% if I give them permission to use it for marketing but I don't need any more txt messages thanks.

My last buy from Crooze was the TLD A3 a few years back which got lost by Arafuckinmex and the bloke from Crooze told me over the phone it was my own loss as I didn't select the reg/insurance/signed/express whatever option. I've steered clear of them since though it looks like they are getting some buys from here lately.

Maybe I'll just Ze Gee it and not bother with any of them

They also give you $10 voucher on your birthday. Gotta feeling that's will be gone soon. I have about $200 worth of items sitting in my cart which have been sitting there for 6 weeks all I get is emails trying to remind me I have things in my cart that I want.

I remember pushys used to have 15% off store wide almost monthly around 3rd week. I would put in monthly orders.

Haven't seen one since early 2024 and when I asked them they said no plans for anytime soon.

Now the sales are so spread apart and never on good stuff at the same time, to force more and separate orders. Instead I just buy less often so it's backfired on them.

Bikes and maybe forks are cheap at the moment but components are fucking expensive everywhere. Sales were shit for EOFYS, Ze Gees have all hiked their shipping and the euro is nearly $1.80au. A good time to just ride and not sell current bikes as the secondhand market is shithouse.

Shithouse, hmmm...back to normal?

Maybe the big correction that was due but Yeti's and Santa Cruz never slashed the price of a bike by up to 50%, leaving those who just bought a $13k bike 6 months earlier or less, looking at the bike they bought now retailing new for $7999.
You could have easily clawed back over half the price of a 2yr old bike before, lucky now to get 1/3.

There was a bloke on a local page selling his Megatower a couple of weeks back, it disappeared (maybe sold 😬) JonnySprockets had basically the same bike last week for $2k less brand new, than the second hand 18month old one listed for.

Strange shit going on, last years bikes are cheap but parts are full price and in demand parts are hard to find, then when you do its full price with no trinket teaser to sweeten the deal ;)

Don't fight it man, there's loads of pretty cool stuff out there, $149 tyres galore, $179 alu high riser bars a plenty and numerous $1000+ cassettes and derailleurs for all whole family to enjoy.

I was thinking of moving to the new Schwalbe click valve system but realised I don't care enough to do so.

Actually I need a new seat post for the gravel bike. And a spare chain. Exciting stuff..

After buying from Crooze a few days back, I got sent a 10% off code. If anyone is genuinely going to buy something from Crooze before 11pm Thursday, PM me and I'll send you the code to try. Can't think its attached to my account in any way.

Pushys are going for the"reverse sale" tactic.
