I don’t have the Answer just condemning the evil behavior that I don’t see it as a justified means to get the outcome they want or fight back. They obviously don’t make their own rockets they fire in the 1000s.

Who knew that a hard right strongman like Netahanu was bad for national security But I assume this was largely the excuse he was looking for (and has probably been encouraging with some pretty egregious provocation of late...) to wipe out the last bits of Palestine.

That was my initial thought too but the unprecedented uselessness of Israeli intelligence in the lead up to the attacks on Saturday is possibly the biggest failure in the country's history. While Netanyahu can (and is) using this to prop himself up in the short term, internally many Israelis are going to be asking many uncomfortable questions about how such a catastrophic and humiliating invasion was ever, ever allowed to happen. And when Netanyahu's putsch against the courts has created so much internal division and left Israel's security forces in the worst state they've ever been in, it's not going to be hard to start apportioning blame.

Only positive that might come out of this is it might terminally wound his leadership and open the door for someone who's slightly less of a Trumpy nutcase.

The conflict started prior to 1900, in the last couple of decades of the 19th century, when jewish settlers were arriving from Europe to set up settlements, which were defended from the locals by armed aggression. nothing much has changed, except for the scale of the armed and state sponsored Israeli oppression.

As I am in Dickheadson which is the potato's electorate he sent through a make sure you vote no because voting yes will divide the country so I replied to him. Explained that a no vote will be what divides the country not a positive referendum outcome and if he had a shred of humanity and empathy he would have endorsed the yes campaign instead of trying to kill the referendum on the 0.0001% chance he can pin his name to another referendum when he is pm. But as 0.0001% us as good as zero you will never be pm no matter how much you lust after that role. Wont get past his seed potatoes but made me feel better.
